Overview

The French Embassy in Kigali required a complete modernization of its security and communication infrastructure to meet global embassy standards. IBMS Africa was selected to provide an end-to-end solution that strengthens safety, improves connectivity, and enables centralized management of all building systems.

Scope of Work

IBMS overhauled the Embassy’s entire security network, installing CCTV cameras, access control units, and an upgraded communication infrastructure linking key departments and entry points. Each system was configured for seamless interoperability and managed through a secure central hub.

The design ensured compliance with international embassy security standards, incorporating advanced encryption, redundancy, and emergency support mechanisms to maintain reliability under all conditions.

The French Embassy now operates with enhanced situational awareness and reliability. The integrated systems have reduced security risks, improved coordination between departments, and streamlined incident management. The embassy staff now work in a safer, more connected environment that supports efficient daily operations while safeguarding sensitive diplomatic assets.
